The Uttar Pradesh Police has filed an FIR against Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor in the case of corona virus infection. Kanika Kapoor returned from London on March 9 and was later confirmed to be infected with Corona virus.
The FIR against Kanika reads: ‘Kanika came to Lucknow on 14 March. She went to London a few days ago. He was found corona positive at the airport on 14 March itself. He was instructed to stay in quarantine at home, but he participated in many programs that broke the rules. Therefore, action will be taken against them under epidemic law.
However, later the Lucknow Police Commissioner admitted an error of the FIR. Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey said- ‘The date of his (Kanika Kapoor) accidentally writing March 14 was written in the report filed by the CMO for the FIR. Actually she came on 11 March. This thing will be corrected during investigation.
At the same time, many questions are arising regarding the FIR. Does the corona virus actually get tested at any airport in India or the world? According to information given by the government, the corona virus test is actually done in the lab only. Whether it is positive or not can be confirmed only after the lab report. Only the temperature is checked at the airport. If the temperature is above normal, a person can be declared suspicious and his samples can be sent to the lab.
On Twitter, Advisor of Go Air and former COO of Spice Jet, Sanjeev Kapoor has questioned the claim being made in relation to Kanika Kapoor. He has written- ‘How can someone come from England to India on a flight and hide where he is coming from. Immigration knows about the flight. At the time of 9 March, people coming from England were not being recommitted for being quarantine. At that time there were no symptoms in his body and nothing came out during the temperature examination at the airport.
Sanjeev has also written- ‘There is no facility of Corona virus investigation at the airport. They just check the temperature. And people coming from domestic flights are also not investigated.
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh tweeted- ‘On March 9, Kanika Kapoor came from London, where was the system? Why did the investigation not happen? How did he have three parties in Lucknow? PM has even canceled the Holi meet but Vashundhara Raje, Dushyant Singh, JP Singh do the party. But why? Aren’t they all guilty of criminal negligence? Case will be registered?
What did Kanika Kapoor say?
In a special conversation with Aaj Tak, Kanika Kapoor has said that her proper scanning was done at the airport, she had filled the form, but at that time she had no symptoms. After coming to Lucknow, she felt some symptoms for the last three days, after which she went to check herself and her result turned out to be positive.
